When you import a list of emails, we run it through a service that checks the deliverability of that list. You can check out the service here.

NeverBounce then gives us a score for the list. If the score is high enough, we import it. If i's not, then the import will fail and we'll let you know how you can clean the list to increase the score.

If we send out too many bulk emails that fail or bounce, our deliverability and spam score across the entire platform is damaged - and that's bad news for everyone. So, we ensure up front that the emails being brought into the system are active.
