Click Email Journeys in the left sidebar > + New Email Journey.  

From here you can choose:

  1. The title of the journey that will appear internally in your dashboard
  2. The event that will determine which contacts are sent the email
  3. To send the email immediately or set a delay
  4. Which email template you'd like your contacts to receive when they match the parameters of your automation 
  5. Any additional delays and emails you'd like to send after your contacts receive the first email

The template you choose will be sent as an email the first time a user completes the action or enters/exits the segment you choose.

Tip: If you don't already have a template you want to use as an automated email, edit a pre-existing one or create a new one by clicking Templates in the left sidebar.
